OUR STORY...
Thrill Dancers has brought the joy of dance to hundreds of children
throughout the years.  Under the new direction of
Grace Villanueva,
Artistic Director
, the Thrill Dancers has grown into an award winning
studio, respected by the dance community, and sought after by dance
students from as far away as Carleton Place and Ottawa!
OUR MISSION

Thrill Dancers has a 6 point mission statement.
We at Thrill Dancers strive to help our students not only become
amazing dancers, but amazing people too!
We do this through teaching the love of dance.

When one dances they...

Become physically fit: Dance is an excellent way to get exercise.
Dance builds strength, endurance, flexibility, and grace.  Dance also
builds co-ordination which is very important in sports.  In fact many high
performance athletes integrate dance as part as their training.
Students also learn how to respect, appreciate and take care of  their
body.  Instilling these ideas in children has positive life long effects.

Learn socialization skills: Dance is a great way to meet and interact
with new people in a positive and safe atmosphere. Children who work
together with long term goals insight (i.e. a competition, or year end
recital), learn valuable interpersonal skills such as, working within a
team dynamic and learning responsibility.

Attain an appreciation for the arts: Our goal is not only to nurture the
physical art form of dance, but all the art forms that are interconnected
with it.  Music, acting , and visual arts play a very important part in the
dance world.  Students are exposed to all art forms at Thrill Dancers

Find creativity: Dance helps people get in touch with their creative
sides.  At Thrill Dancers, students will be exposed to different types of
dances, music and cultures.  This helps create a well rounded,
sensitive person.

Build confidence: Performing in front of a big audience is no small feat!
When children are given an opportunity to dance in front of an audience
in a positive way, they learn that they can do anything!  The more
experience in performing a student gets, they realize that with hard work
and determination, anything is possible.

Learn responsibility: Dance classes require a certain amount of
commitment, dedication, and responsibility.  These are life lessons are
important in all areas of life, and will help your child to succeed in the
future.
"Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the
heart is another."
ABOUT US
I want to thank you for your wonderful
instructors. They have really helped to
bring Eva out of her shell. When she came
to Canada, she was very shy, scared, and
would not really relate to anyone other than
me. Thrill Dancers has really helped her
socially, her confidence, and with her
adaptation here. She is now brave enough
to want to play soccer this summer!

Sincerely,
Esther Aiken
